Currently, R & D of industry-academia collaboration towards creation and social implementation of innovation is progressing. The Aging is becoming a major issue in many developed countries. It is also equally important to cultivate interpersonal skills to effectively work with/for people from all different backgrounds, since we are living in the world of diversity nowadays.
Young researchers at Ritsumeikan University are ambitious for problem-solving type research and development for especially an Aging Society. In this plan, we are expecting a discussion for creating a delight and healthier future and hope promoting research collaboration and academic interaction between Japan and the UK.
